Three Generations
Jackie Lynn - Founder-Director of Kaye-Lynne Dance Studio established in 1955. Miss Lynn has taught thousands of children in all forms of dance throughout her career. She has given her pupils knowledge, confidence, self-respect and a positive feeling in the world of dance.
Robin Kaye - Director of Kaye-Lynn Dance Studio I & II, Miss Robin is the Director/Choreographer of the award winning Encore Ensemble Dance Company, established in 1983.
Miss Robin first studied Dance with her mom, Miss Lynn, and has been teaching for over 30 years. She runs both studios filled with love and passion that shines thoughout her waiting areas as well as her classrooms daily.
Miss Robin has earned her BFA as a Dance Major from the first graduating class of Mason Gross Scool of the Arts, Rutgers University. Today many of her students are following in her footsteps, as Robin has set such a positive example for all "To believe in yourself and follow your Dreams!"
Jasi Lynn - The third generation teacher. Jasi has studied dance under the direction of her grandmother and mother since she was three. Jasi in now following in the footsteps and passing along her love and passion of teaching and dance.
Our Staff

Mary is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance trained in Hatha Yoga. Her classes allow the student to focus on themselves, let go of the world around them and bring some fun into their practice.

Growing up at Kaye-Lynn, dance has always been a huge part of her life. After 14 years of competing with Encore Ensemble, Jaci continued her passion for dance at The Pennsylvania State University by obtaining a minor in Dance. She is excited to be back teaching at Kaye-Lynn!

Now a Freshman at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, MaryAlice is working hard towards a BFA in Dance as well as a Master's Degree in Dance Education. Dancing is MaryAlice's true passion, and she avidly works to instill the joy of dance in others and will always continue to do so with Kaye-Lynn dancers!

Miss Lauren, head of Edison ballet dept. is a graduate of The Ailey School. She began her dance training at School Of The Arts at the age of 2. Miss Lauren is also an Alumni of New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble (NJDTE).


Erin Tinkel is a Kaye-Lynn Dance Studio Alumni. She danced with Kaye-Lynn from the age of four in 1990 until she graduated from high school in 2005. She was a part of the Encore Ensemble Dance Company while at Kaye-Lynn and competed in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop, winning numerous awards in group and solo dances.


Since a very young age, Amy has been studying and performing the art of dance. While studying with many prestigious choreographers such as Frank Hatchet, Sheilia Barker, Tyce Diorio, Cris Judd and many more. Miss Amy also received many accomplishments throughout her career such as a member of the NJ Nets Dance Team and being selected to be apart of StarPower's PowerPak tour.


Brandon J. Jones has been a student of dance for twenty-two years. Trained in seven genres, he competed regionally and nationally from ages eight to eighteen and was awarded a full artistic scholarship to attend the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, from which he attained a B.A. in dance, with a jazz concentration in Summer 2007. With a genuine love of dance and performance, he teaches his students to always value their personal strengths and to continually challenge themselves in class, for the reward is great!

Heather Favretto obtained her BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She is the founder and co-artistic director of Glitterati. Her choreography has been presented at DTW's performance lab, H.T. Chen's NewSteps Series, HATCH, Triskelion Arts Center, NJPAC's Dance Jam, Rutgers University, Connecticut College, The Outlet Project, and at several concerts in and around the greater New York area.

Robert Taylor Jr. graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a bachelor's degree in dance. His credits include television shows, music videos and the national tour of "Hairspray." Taylor is honored to have once performed for Michael Jackson. He has trained with numerous professionals and has performed in some of the country's most prestigious dance shows.


Lara M. Friedman is a graduate of Kaye-Lynn Dance Studio and is currently studying as a B.F.A. Dance Major with k-12 certification at Towson University in Maryland. She was a founding member of Baltimore-based modern company, Deep Vision Dance Company in 2010. She has continued her passion in choreography as well, earning the First Place Joanne D. Hanson Memorial Award for NSAL's Art of the Solo competition in April 2011.
